Hi, I’m Chique Henderson, PMHNP-BC!
I’m an integrative psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who believes that healing happens when people feel truly heard, supported, and understood. I don’t just focus on symptoms. I focus on the person behind them. My approach blends thoughtful medication management, psychotherapy, and holistic strategies so we can address the deeper roots of emotional suffering and rebuild the parts of life that may feel lost.
My path into mental health care is deeply personal. I grew up in a culture where mental health struggles were often dismissed, and I experienced firsthand how isolating depression, anxiety, and trauma can feel when no one seems to understand. Those experiences shaped my purpose. After beginning my career as a caregiver and nurse, I eventually became a psychiatric nurse practitioner so I could offer the kind of care I once needed myself: patient, compassionate, and focused on the whole person. Today, I work closely with patients to help them move from survival mode toward stability, hope, and a life that feels meaningful again.
